Merchandiser for Fashion Retail Company in the US

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our fashion retail company in the US. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product strategies, analyzing sales data, and forecasting trends. The ideal candidate will have experience in fashion merchandising, strong analytical skills, and a biometric passport for international travel.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product strategies based on market trends and customer demand
- Analyze sales data to identify top-performing products and make recommendations for future assortment
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and marketing to ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with buyers to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery times with suppliers
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor product placement and inventory levels
- Identify potential opportunities for growth through market research and competitor analysis
- Forecast sales trends and adjust product strategies accordingly
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities
- Travel internationally to attend trade shows, visit manufacturers or sourcing trips as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in fashion merchandising or buying role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed (biometric passport required)
- Strong knowledge of fashion industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
