Baker (Contract)


We are seeking a skilled and creative Baker to join our team on a contract basis. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and customer demands. Your attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure the success of our bakery.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to recipes
- Bake various types of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Decorate and finish products with icings, glazes, fillings, and toppings
- Ensure all products are consistently high quality
- Monitor ovens, mixers, and other equipment for proper functioning
- Clean work area and equipment after each use
- Order supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels
- Keep track of customer orders and fulfill them in a timely manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certificate is a plus
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Baker or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them as needed
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks based on customer demand
- Attention to detail; ability to produce consistently high-quality products
- Good communication skills; able to take direction from supervisors and interact with customers in a professional manner

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $1400. The job may involve early morning shifts, late evening shifts, weekends, or holidays depending on the needs of the bakery. The location for this job is in the US but we welcome applicants from all nationalities. Accommodation is not provided but we offer free visa sponsorship and tickets for international candidates.
