Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, your role will be to maintain and improve the efficiency of our company's network and computer systems. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network hardware and software, as well as ensuring the security and stability of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups of network data to ensure data integrity
- Implement security measures to protect our network from cyber threats
- Conduct routine maintenance on servers, workstations, printers, and other hardware
- Troubleshoot software issues and coordinate with vendors for support when necessary
- Keep track of inventory for all network equipment and software licenses
- Collaborate with IT team members to plan for future network upgrades or expansions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent communication skills

Location: Oslo (accommodation provided if needed)
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
