Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our company's network and systems infrastructure. This includes setting up, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network devices, servers, and other IT equipment. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong technical background in network and system administration. You should also have experience with biometric passport systems and be familiar with industry best practices for security and data protection. You must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance to ensure uptime and identify areas for improvement
- Set up new user accounts and manage permissions on various systems
- Perform regular backups of important data to ensure data integrity
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to network or system failures
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in network or system administration
- Knowledge of biometric passport systems preferred
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN networks, DNS/DHCP services
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Location: Oslo (open to candidates from any nationality)
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
