IT Support Specialist


We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients. Your main duties will include resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems and applications, and maintaining network infrastructure.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of computer systems and networks, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Previous experience in technical support or a similar role is required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to clients via phone, email or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate more complex problems to senior technicians
- Install and configure computer systems, software applications, printers, and other equipment
- Maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, backups and system optimizations
- Document all support activities for reference purposes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware components and software applications
- Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+)
- Experience with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Students with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
