Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's network and computer systems. This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights on the network
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery processes are in place and functioning properly
- Perform regular system updates and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
- Investigate security breaches and take appropriate action to prevent future incidents
- Communicate with vendors for technical support when needed
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technology initiatives

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network/System Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficient knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with biometric passport systems is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have valid work authorization in Norway
