As a Contract Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our company's computer systems. Your primary role will be to ensure smooth operations of our network infrastructure and related software applications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues that arise, implementing necessary upgrades and updates, and monitoring system performance.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Install and maintain server operating systems and software applications
- Monitor network traffic to ensure optimal performance and identify potential security threats
- Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access or data breaches
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to the network infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments in order to make recommendations for system upgrades or improvements
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure maximum efficiency of our company's IT infrastructure

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP
- Experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Knowledge of security protocols (Firewalls, VPNs)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1400$ per month. Other benefits such as health insurance may be provided depending on the candidate's qualifications.

Location:
This position is based in Oslo, Norway. The candidate must have legal authorization to work in Norway.
