We are in need of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network and computer systems. Your duties will include installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring network performance, and ensuring data security.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with network infrastructure and systems administration. A degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also essential.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement security measures to protect company data
- Maintain system backups for disaster recovery purposes
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan for system upgrades and enhancements
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity or systems issues
- Keep abreast of new technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, DNS/DHCP configurations
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with firewall configuration and network security principles
