Back-End Developer - Part Time

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side of web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Your primary focus will be developing and implementing efficient and reliable APIs, as well as ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This is a part-time position based in Oslo, Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Develop and implement efficient APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing code base
- Optimize application performance for scalability and speed
- Ensure security of data and applications by implementing proper authentication and authorization protocols

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Biometric passport for international travel (preferred but not required)

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.
