Junior Back-End Developer


We are a growing tech company in Oslo seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our server-side web applications. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or self-taught developer looking to gain valuable experience and grow their career. This is a contract position with potential for full-time employment. Salary starts at $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side web applications
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Troubleshoot and debug issues on the server side
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies

Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as PHP, Ruby, Java, or Python
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex code
- Knowledge of software development best practices including version control systems and agile methodologies
