Junior Back-End Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Back-End Developer to join our team in Oslo. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers without experience, as we will provide on-the-job training. Your primary focus will be to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications, while also working closely with the front-end development team to integrate their work with the back-end.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Design and implement low-latency, highly available, and scalable applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Ensure data security and protection by implementing data backup and recovery strategies
- Optimize application performance by performing regular code reviews and optimizations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Experience working with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: 1800$ per month.
