Machine Learning Engineer


As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining machine learning models and algorithms to improve our company's products and services. You will work closely with our data scientists and software engineers to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning techniques. This role is based in Oslo, Norway and does not offer accommodation or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various machine learning techniques such as deep learning, natural language processing, and predictive modeling to develop solutions for business problems
- Work with large datasets to clean, prepare, and analyze data for use in machine learning models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements
- Implement and deploy machine learning models into production environments
- Monitor performance of existing models and make necessary improvements or updates
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and apply them to enhance our products and services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++
- Proficiency in using libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch
- Knowledge of SQL databases and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about complex problems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience working with cloud services like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Understanding of software engineering principles
- Knowledge of computer vision techniques
