QA Engineer


We are a leading technology company based in Oslo, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying and reporting any bugs or issues, as well as collaborating with developers to improve the overall user experience. This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing of software products to identify any bugs or issues
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues found during testing
- Document and track identified defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in software testing
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and provide input on product quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in software testing (manual or automated)
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Prior experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
