We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Oslo, Norway. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and networks
- Implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist with developing disaster recovery plans and conducting regular backups of critical systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web technologies
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, PCI DSS
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information accurately

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+
- Previous experience in information security or a related field is a plus but not required
