Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Oslo, Norway. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the security of our networks and systems
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior or breaches
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in information security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all systems meet security requirements
- Train employees on information security protocols and procedures
- Respond promptly to security incidents and provide timely updates to relevant parties

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or a similar role
- Knowledge of network and web-related protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP/S)
- Experience with vulnerability testing tools such as Nessus or Metasploit
- Familiarity with risk assessment methods and tools
- Strong understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
- Experience with cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Experience with incident response procedures and tools
- Ability to speak Norwegian or other Scandinavian languages is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
