Job Title: Data-mining Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Data-mining Analyst to join our team in Oslo on a contract basis. As a Data-mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to uncover insights and trends to support business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and develop efficient data mining processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze data and identify patterns, trends, and correlations
- Develop and implement efficient data mining processes
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their data requirements
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings and insights
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data-mining Analyst or similar role
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1400$ per month.
Location:
This position is based in Oslo. However, remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
