Data Mining Analyst

We are in search of a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Oslo. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience with data mining techniques and tools, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A biometric passport is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large data sets from various sources
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns and correlations
- Develop and implement algorithms for data mining tasks
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages used for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with data mining tools such as RapidMiner, KNIME, or SAS Enterprise Miner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
