Part-Time Database Administrator


We are in need of a skilled Part-Time Database Administrator to join our team in Oslo. As a Database Administrator, your responsibilities will include designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our databases to ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval. You should have a strong understanding of database management systems and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it an ideal opportunity for women looking for work flexibility. Own visa and accommodation are not provided. Salary is 1800$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures based on business requirements
- Monitor the performance of databases and optimize as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues with data storage or retrieval
- Develop backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in database systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience with database design, optimization, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
