Web Designer - Oslo, Norway (Contract Position)


We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients. You must have a strong understanding of design principles, as well as experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements and create mockups and wireframes
- Develop websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure websites are functioning properly across various devices and browsers
- Collaborate with developers to integrate design elements into the website's backend
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into designs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a web designer or similar role
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design software/tools
- Strong understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in web design or related field
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Understanding of user experience (UX) design

Salary: $1600 per month
