Moderator for Online Community (Oslo, Norway)



A leading online community is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Moderator to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our online community by monitoring and moderating user-generated content and interactions.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content and interactions on the online community platform.
- Enforce community guidelines and ensure all content posted is appropriate and follows our policies.
- Respond to user inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Facilitate discussions and engage with users to encourage positive interactions within the community.
- Collaborate with other moderators to develop strategies for improving the overall user experience.
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and take necessary actions to resolve them.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in online community management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in online community management or moderation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for creating positive online communities.

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must already reside in Oslo or be willing to relocate at their own expense. This job is open to all genders.
