Turner - Metal Fabricator


We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our metal fabrication team in Oslo, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machinery and tools to shape and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and other machinery
- Measure and mark out materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth metal using hand tools or machines
- Weld or solder parts together
- Perform quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Comply with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or Metal Fabricator (minimum 2 years)
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools
- Strong knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
- Experience operating lathes, mills, grinders, and other machinery
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Valid work permit for Norway (if not already a citizen)

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
