Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines in a construction or mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner according to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections to identify any potential hazards or mechanical issues.
- Use heavy machinery to move earth, materials, and large objects.
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on site.

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- Must have a valid operator's license for the specific type of equipment being operated.
- Good understanding of equipment mechanics and maintenance.
- Ability to read project plans, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time hours during peak seasons. You must have your own accommodation in Oslo as no housing will be provided. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. This is an urgent job opening so immediate availability is preferred.
