Part-Time Preservation Architect (Visa Sponsorship Available) in Oslo
We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Oslo. As a part-time Preservation Architect, you will play a key role in preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for architectural preservation and a desire to work with some of the most beautiful and culturally significant buildings in Oslo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site visits and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and recommendations based on research and analysis
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors on restoration projects
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and guidelines for preservation work
- Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and community members about preservation projects
- Participating in research, documentation, and educational initiatives related to architectural preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural preservation or restoration
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines for preservation work in Oslo
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough research
