Senior Architect - Biometric Passport Project (Contract)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Oslo and lead the design and development of a new biometric passport project. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and planning for the biometric passport project, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and designers to develop innovative solutions
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications for construction teams to follow
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction is proceeding according to plan and make any necessary adjustments
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders regularly

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years experience as an architect, preferably with experience in government projects or biometric technology
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to passport design and security
- Extensive experience with architectural software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams

Preferred:
- Previous experience working on biometric passport projects
- Fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language

Salary: 1600$ per month
