Assistant Restaurant Manager
We are a busy restaurant located in the heart of Oslo, seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn and grow with us.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure efficient and smooth running
- Assist with managing and training staff on customer service, food preparation, and safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional manner
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new menu items and specials
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, goals, and any necessary improvements
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant management role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be eligible to work in Norway without sponsorship
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
