Instrument Technician in Oslo, Norway
We are in need of an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used for measuring and controlling processes in our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment.
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure their accuracy and functionality.
- Create reports on instrument performance and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects within given timelines.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology related to instrumentation.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of different types of instruments used in industrial settings.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Good understanding of electrical principles and circuits.
- Familiarity with calibration techniques and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in the oil & gas industry or a similar field.
- Trade school certificate or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Oslo, Norway
Note: Accommodation can be provided for candidates who do not reside in Oslo. Candidates must have their own visa/work permit for Norway.
