Instrument Technician
We are in search of a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and calibrating various types of instruments used in our company's operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on all company instruments.
- Repair or replace any faulty or damaged instruments.
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards and specifications.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs and calibrations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies for instrument maintenance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex instrument issues.
- Stay updated on new technology and industry developments related to instrumentation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, schematics and diagrams.
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment for instrument maintenance and repair.
- Good knowledge of safety precautions when working with electrical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, with flexible hours. The salary for this role is 1700$ per month. The candidate must provide their own accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for non-EU candidates.
