Experienced Welder in Oslo, Norway


We are seeking an experienced welder to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join metal parts together and create various structures and products. The ideal candidate will have previous welding experience and be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
- Repair damaged metal parts by welding on new sections or filling holes
- Inspect finished welds for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working with hot metals and operating heavy machinery

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a welder in a professional setting
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to produce high-quality welds
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and able to work independently or as part of a team
