As a leading restaurant in Oslo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department and creating delicious desserts that will leave our guests wanting more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry items for our menu based on current food trends and customer preferences
- Train, supervise, and mentor pastry staff to ensure consistency and quality in all menu items
- Manage inventory and ordering of all pastry ingredients to maintain stock levels and minimize waste
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen following food safety standards
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that offer a range of delicious options for our guests
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients to continuously improve our offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment
- Proven track record of creating unique and delectable dessert items that meet customer expectations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Strong knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain proper sanitation practices
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new ideas while also following established recipes
