Hotel Sales Manager in Oslo, Norway
As a Hotel Sales Manager in Oslo, Norway, you will be responsible for driving revenue and increasing occupancy through effective sales strategies. You will work closely with the hotel's revenue management team to identify market trends and develop pricing strategies. You will also build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agents to secure group bookings and negotiate favorable rates.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of the hotel industry and current market trends. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on it. Previous experience in hotel sales or revenue management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy
- Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agents
- Negotiate group bookings and favorable rates for the hotel
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to analyze data and make strategic decisions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 3+ years of experience in hotel sales or revenue management
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of revenue management systems (RMS) is a plus
