Hotel Sales Manager
As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing revenue for our hotel in Oslo. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement strategic plans to attract and retain clients, while also maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Your goal will be to increase bookings, revenue, and occupancy rates through effective sales techniques and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the hotel and its services
- Identify potential clients and proactively reach out to them through cold calls, emails, networking events, etc.
- Maintain a strong presence in the local market by attending industry events and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to make strategic adjustments as needed
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven track record of successful sales performance in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of market trends and competitor activities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Oslo (candidate must have own visa)
