Network and Systems Administrator - Contract Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's network infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure reliable operation of network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and security patches
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for network resources
- Support end users with technical issues related to network connectivity or system access
- Work closely with other IT team members to plan and implement new network projects or upgrades
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network administration or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, and DNS
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Windows server administration is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Salary: 1100$ per month

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The successful candidate will need to provide their own accommodation in Oslo. However, we are able to provide visa sponsorship for non-Norwegian applicants if needed.
