QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Os, Norway. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Your role will involve creating test plans, executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality and performance
- Document and report bugs, issues, and defects found during testing
- Work closely with developers to prioritize and resolve identified issues
- Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on potential risks or defects
- Conduct regression testing on existing features after updates or changes are made
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure overall product quality
- Proactively identify ways to improve the overall testing process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Experience developing manual and automated test scripts
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with performance/load testing tools

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Os, Norway (no accommodation provided)
