Information Security Analyst
Location: Oslo, Norway


The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's information assets. They will conduct regular risk assessments, develop and implement security policies and procedures, and monitor network activity for potential security breaches. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of information security principles and technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor network activity for signs of potential security breaches
- Investigate and respond to reported security incidents
- Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends, threats, and technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR)
and industry best practices
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
- Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security
- Strong technical knowledge of information security principles (e.g. access control, encryption), technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection systems), and tools (e.g. vulnerability scanners)
- Experience conducting risk assessments
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
