Junior Information Security Analyst - Os, Norway


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Os, Norway. As a member of our information security team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security risks, monitoring security systems, and conducting regular security assessments. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Monitor network traffic and security systems for any anomalies or breaches
- Implement and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures
- Investigate and respond to any reported security incidents
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of network security protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and databases (SQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS or Azure)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (ISO 27001/27002)
