Database Administrator


We are in need of a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our company's databases and ensuring their security, integrity, and performance. You will also be involved in database design and development, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain databases for our company
- Perform regular database backups and ensure data security
- Monitor database performance and make necessary optimizations
- Troubleshoot any database issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient data management across different systems
- Develop and implement data access controls and policies
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with database design and development
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes
- Knowledge of data access controls and security protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience working with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Certification in database administration (MCDBA or equivalent)

Salary: $1100/month

Location: Os, Norway (free visa and ticket provided)
