As a moderator for our online community, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging environment for our members. Your primary role will be to monitor user-generated content, enforce community guidelines, and facilitate discussions among members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content, ensuring it aligns with community guidelines and values.
- Engage with members through comments, feedback, and discussions to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Address any conflicts or issues that may arise within the community in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with community managers to develop strategies for increasing engagement and improving the overall member experience.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in order to anticipate potential issues or opportunities within the community.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a moderator or similar role in an online community.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, online communities, and current trends.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Passion for building communities and fostering meaningful connections among members.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
We offer competitive compensation of 900$ per month for this part-time position. As our moderator will be working remotely from Oslo, Norway, candidates who are based in this location are preferred. However, we are open to considering candidates from other locations who possess the necessary skills and experience.
