Job Title: Finishing Specialist

As a Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of production for our company's products in our factory located in Os, Norway. Your primary role will be to ensure that all finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications. You will work closely with the production team to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the finishing process and make necessary adjustments to ensure top-quality results.

Responsibilities:
- Perform final inspections on completed products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Use various finishing techniques such as sanding, staining, and painting to achieve desired results
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the finishing process and make necessary adjustments
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for the finishing department
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to set up finishing equipment and assist with loading and unloading finished products
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate schedules and prioritize projects
- Continuously strive for improvement by suggesting new techniques or processes that could enhance the quality of finished products

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in finish carpentry or related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a finisher or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of different types of wood, finishes, stains, and paints
- Familiarity with woodworking tools such as saws, sanders, drills, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with others
