Formworker Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Formworker Supervisor to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Formworker Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of formworkers in the construction of various structures using concrete forms. Your main duties will include supervising and coordinating the work of formworkers, ensuring safety regulations are followed, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of formworkers on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
- Ensure proper installation and removal of concrete forms according to project plans
- Train new formworkers on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor progress and quality of work to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow
- Order supplies and materials as needed for projects
- Keep accurate records of materials used and hours worked by each team member

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in construction is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a formworker or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans accurately
- Good leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed on construction sites

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Os, Norway (open to all nationalities)
