Apprentice Locksmith

As an apprentice locksmith, you will work closely with experienced locksmiths to learn the skills and techniques needed to become a licensed and certified locksmith. This is a hands-on training position that will provide you with the necessary knowledge and expertise to excel in this profession.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior locksmiths with various tasks, including lock installations, repairs, and key cutting
- Learn how to use specialized tools and equipment for lock picking, rekeying, and other locksmithing tasks
- Shadow experienced locksmiths during emergency service calls and learn how to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Understand the fundamentals of different types of locks, such as pin-tumbler locks, combination locks, and electronic locks
- Gain knowledge of security systems and alarms to assist with installations and repairs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions closely and pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Interest in pursuing a career as a licensed locksmith

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Os, a city known for its beautiful historic buildings. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel within the city for service calls.
