Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Structural Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and tunnels. You will work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and design calculations for various projects
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications according to project requirements
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure structural integrity of designs
- Review project plans and proposals to identify potential structural problems or conflicts
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical support as needed
- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of civil engineering

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in structural design
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and codes
- Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
