Metal Fabricator



As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal products using a variety of techniques and tools. You will work with a range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and copper, to create products such as pipes, beams, and frames.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Cut, bend, shape, and weld metal pieces using hand tools and machinery
- Measure and mark metal for cutting or shaping
- Assemble parts by welding or bolting to create complete products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged or faulty metal parts using appropriate techniques
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Metal Worker or similar role preferred but not required
- Proven ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, and grinders
- Experience operating welding equipment (TIG/MIG) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must have valid work permit/visa sponsorship (if required)
