We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials, load trucks, and complete construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting and possess a valid equipment operator's license.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job site requirements
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to complete tasks accurately
- Use GPS systems and other technology to guide equipment operations
- Ensure proper loading of materials onto trucks or into designated areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on schedule
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
- Valid equipment operator's license required
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Experience using GPS systems preferred
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this contract position. As an added bonus, we also provide opportunities for overtime pay.
