Fitter Technician

We are hiring a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Os, Norway for a contract position. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a fitter or similar role, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery
- Fabricate and assemble parts as needed
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a fitter or similar role
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if necessary

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
