Excavator Operator


We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Os, Norway. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of excavators to perform tasks such as digging, loading, and moving materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to perform tasks such as digging, loading, and moving materials
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary repairs or report them to the appropriate person
- Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and within project timelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators or other heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or plans for excavation projects
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Knowledge of safety regulations for heavy equipment operation

Preferred:
- Experience operating different types of excavators (e.g. trackhoe, backhoe)
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair for excavators
- Experience working on construction sites
