We are a floral shop located in the vibrant city of Os, Norway and we are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and everyday orders. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in floral design and a passion for working with flowers. This is a full-time position that includes accommodation for those who require it. Responsibilities:
- Create and design unique floral arrangements using various types of flowers
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect arrangement for their needs
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies
- Ensure all orders are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Participate in store events and promotions
- Stay up-to-date on current floral trends and techniques

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Florist or in floral design
- Strong knowledge of different types of flowers, their care, and how to create arrangements with them
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 20 pounds)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when needed

Preferred:
- Certificate or degree in Floral Design or related field
- Knowledge of different cultural traditions and customs related to flowers
- Experience working with event planners or wedding coordinators
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Norwegian)
