Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status, medical history, and lifestyle habits.
- Designing personalized nutrition plans that meet the specific dietary requirements and preferences of each patient.
- Providing education and counseling on healthy eating habits, portion control, and food choices.
- Monitoring patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and nutritional science.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in creating personalized meal plans using specialized software.
