Instrument Technician - Biometric Passport Manufacturing
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Os, Norway for a full-time position. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating the specialized equipment used in the production of biometric passports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and mechanical issues on high-tech production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications and document all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and resolve technical problems.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in electronics or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
Location:
This position is located in Os, Norway. Norwegian citizenship or permanent residency is preferred but not required.
