Instrument Technician

We are currently hiring an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in the beautiful city of Os, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing processes. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments according to technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on projects
- Stay updated on new technology and industry developments related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with PLC programming a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit for lifting/carrying heavy equipment
