Head Pastry Chef
We are hiring a talented Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Os, Norway. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all pastry operations in our restaurant. This includes creating new dessert menus, training and supervising pastry staff, and ensuring that all pastries are prepared to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new dessert menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, supervise, and schedule pastry staff to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee the production of all pastries, including cakes, tarts, cookies, and other desserts
- Ensure that all pastries are prepared to the highest quality standards and presented beautifully
- Maintain inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of pastry baking techniques and recipes for various types of desserts
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills is a plus)
- Must be eligible to work in Norway
Salary:
